Municycle.com / Unicycle.com - What is what?
Do you also support / sponsor events?
We received a unicycle box that was not originally packed.
We will not send any used unicycles or unicycles from our exhibition without prior consultation. The box was opened by us to check before shipping and the unicycle was unpacked. We check whether everything is complete, whether the tire holds air and whether there are any damages. Then we glue everything back together and it looks like it has been opened before.
Are there special conditions for certain customers?
Yes! We want to support and advance unicycling. That's why we give special conditions to unicycle clubs , youth centers and unicycle groups. Since the compilation of collective orders and the subsequent billing in clubs is often associated with a great deal of effort, members of unicycling clubs and unicycling groups receive the same special conditions and can order directly from us. Just talk to us.
How do I get special conditions?
If you are a unicycle club , youth house, unicycle group or a member of a unicycle club , unicycle groups , you get special conditions. We can activate the special conditions for you in our web shop. You will immediately see "your price" and can order at this price. And this is how it's done:
1. Register in our shop (or you are already registered): https://www.einradladen.com/registrieren.php
2. Send us an email with the request for special conditions with the email address and the reason (which club etc.)
3. If everything is ok, we will convert your web shop account.
4. You will see "your price" when you log into our shop. Without registration you will still see the normal prices
How are the unicycles delivered?
When assembled, unicycles are too large to ship. Therefore unicycles are pre-assembled. We very rarely have requests from customers with assembly problems. This shows us that the unicycle can also be assembled by amateurs. A bit of skill and a bit of tools and you're good to go.
Here's a guide to assembling a standard unicycle. Sorry if we can't create instructions for each individual unicycle. The effort would be too great: http://www.einradladen.com/Assembly-of-unicycle
Many individual instructions for Nimbus and UDC Club products can also be found here.
Can I have a unicycle assembled individually for me?
This is one of our specialties. We are happy to advise whether combinations of parts make sense and whether they technically fit together at all. What is technically feasible, we also do. It is best to just ask us. Sometimes advice on the phone and sometimes by email is better. That is very different.
Can I also have individual components exchanged when ordering a unicycle?
Yes, that's usually possible. Of course, only if we have the desired parts in stock or can get them. So we've done a lot in the past. From a simple saddle and pedal exchange to conversions where no stone was left unturned. A few words on pricing: We always have to calculate such conversions individually. We buy some parts significantly more expensive than an exchanged part, which is delivered together with a complete unicycle. Example: A customer buys a Nimbus Muni and wants the saddle exchanged for a Kris Holm saddle. The mathematical difference (Nimbus saddle: EUR 36.90/ Kris Holm saddle: EUR 44.90) would be EUR 8. However, we buy Kris Holm individual parts more expensively and have to charge a little more than EUR 8 for economic reasons. Sometimes we dismantle parts from a complete unicycle that we have dismantled so many times that our warehouse is overflowing. We have to sell them all before we retire ;) We would have to take that into account when pricing. Replacing parts sometimes involves a lot of work for us. Example: Replacing a brake disc rotor from 160mm to 180mm requires dismantling the crank and bearing, replacing the disc rotor and reassembling the bearing and crank. This takes time and is therefore not included in the calculation of the price of a complete unicycle. So it's best to make an offer and decide whether it's an option.
I can choose different parts for some unicycles . What does the "OEM" mean on some parts?
OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer ". So these parts are factory fitted and standard on this unicycle. All other parts are exchanged by us.
I'm not sure if everything I want to order will fit together. Can I get help from you?
Of course. We have already spoken to customers after they have placed an order that the parts they have ordered do not fit together at all. If you are not sure whether parts fit together or whether the unicycle already in place, then ask us.
I would like to order an item but the shop says "Please ask for availability!" - What can I do?
This means the item is out of stock or at least our computer thinks so. If you want an item that says "please ask for availability!" is marked, order, it is best to ask us. We can see if we still have a piece of it or if there is a newer version that is not yet available in the web shop. We can also clarify whether the item may have already been reordered by us or or or... You can also have our shop send you an email automatically when an item is back in stock. For this purpose you will find the button "Notify me when this item is available" for such articles. If you press this and enter your name and e-mail address, you will receive a non-binding e-mail when you can order the item again.
Can we visit you? Do you have a local shop?
We don't have a local shop. But visitors are welcome! Please only by prior arrangement. We are not always on site and would like to save you from standing in front of a locked door or waiting and waiting and waiting together with 5 other customers.... Everything can be viewed here, we can make conversions and put unicycles together as far as possible (e.g. it is not possible to spoke a wheel ).
What are your opening hours?
We have no fixed opening hours. We don't have walk-in customers like a regular store. Visits are always possible by prior arrangement.
Can I test ride unicycles with you?
Unfortunately, this is only possible in very few cases. Our main sales channel is shipping. Every customer wants to get a new and unused unicycle. Test riding means leaving marks on tires, saddle, pedals and cranks. So we can no longer send such unicycles without further ado. It would be an economic fiasco if we offered that. We ask you to understand that!
Are you also at events? Can you bring something there?
Yes, in Germany and abroad. Direct contact with the scene and the individual drivers is important to us. There is always a lot of talking and screwing and one or the other coffee is destroyed. We are also happy to bring goods with us. We usually post where we are next on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/Municyclecom-185233762435
What is Municycle.com?
We are a small family business that wants more than just selling goods anonymously. We are Petra and Roland with a few helpers. We don't want our customers to be just a customer number or maybe even just part of a statistic at the end of the month. I don't want to write any marketing slogans from textbooks here. Here we are first and foremost people and only then a company with economic interests.
Roland started unicycling in 2001. It quickly became clear that he wanted to be out and about in the countryside and in the forest. Since he couldn't find any suitable parts and unicycles on the German market, the shop Municycle.com was founded to remedy the situation. " Municycle" is a made-up word. "Unicycle" and the "M" stands for "Mountain", i.e. all-terrain unicycle. But we have been serving all divisions in the unicycle sector for many years now.
Municycle.com / Unicycle.com - What is what?
We are Municycle.com (more on that under "What is Municycle.com?"). We belong to a group of unicycle shops all over the world. This group has gathered at "Unicycle.com" and is represented in many countries around the world. Therefore we are also Unicycle.com Germany.
Firstly, as Municycle.com, we are completely independent and are allowed to decide what we sell and what not. However, as a member of Unicycle.com, we can fully access the concentrated knowledge of all Unicycle.com members and many products (Nimbus, UDC). This gives us and our customers many advantages.
Do you also support / sponsor events?
Yes. Supporting sport is important to us. Unfortunately, we have more requests than available funds. Therefore we cannot consider every event. Just contact us.
How can I best contact you?
We can best be reached by email. Of course also by phone. We want to answer calls ourselves and not through some sort of telephone service with little or no expertise. Since we are a very small company, it may well be that we are difficult to reach by phone. Then please use the answering machine and we will call you back. One request: Contact us by email or telephone. The countless other options such as PMs in forums and Facebook etc. work, but we do not regularly check them. Of course, that delays the whole thing.
